Changing Your Website and Business Information in Termly

Termly uses the business and website information provided by you to generate your website policies (such as Terms and Conditions, Cookie, and Privacy). This article explains how you can change your business and website information in Termly.

Changing Your Business Information

Your business information includes your company's full legal name, business email address, phone number, and full business mailing address. Here's how to change it in Termly:
  1. Go to https://termly.io/
  2. Select [Sign In] and enter your Termly login details.
  3. You will be taken to the Termly dashboard for your website policies.
  4. On the left-hand side of the screen select Settings.
  5. Under WEBSITE select Business Information.
  6. Update your business information as needed.
  7. When you are done, check the box "I understand that any changes made to the business information above will be applied to all policies for this website."
  8. Select [Save].
Changes will be automatically applied to all of your website policies.
It might take up to 24 hours for updated information to be displayed on your website.

Changing Your Website Information

Your website information includes website name and URL. Here's how to change it in Termly:
  1. Go to https://termly.io/
  2. Select [Sign In] and enter your Termly login details.
  3. You will be taken to the Termly dashboard for your website policies.
  4. On the left-hand side of the screen select Settings.
  5. Under WEBSITE select Website Information.
  6. Update your website name and/or URL as needed.
  7. Select [Save].
Changes are automatically applied to your website's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any Return Policy (if configured).
Changes are not automatically applied to your Cookie Policy.
Important! After you save changes to your Website Information, Termly requires you to regenerate your Cookie Policy and add a new Cookie Policy id to your website.
