We know, we know -- not fun. But it does help to improve the security of your catalog admin area.

This auto-expiry cannot be disabled nor the duration extended. This requirement is built into the Volusion system.

Whenever you login to the catalog admin area, if you are near the password expiry date, you will receive a reminder about the change and will have the option to click a link to change your password.

If you login after the password expiry date, you will be forced to do a "password reset" to change your password before you will be allowed to access the admin area.

New passwords must be:

• at least 8 characters long
  
• must contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
  
• must contain at least one number
  
• must contain at least one special character, e.g. "!"
  
• must be unique (you cannot reuse old passwords)
