Notes

  1. POS: For a compatible POS system to receive product data from Orgill, the POS system must be configured to fetch product data from the Orgill data repository.
  2. Catalog: For the Boost Catalog to receive product data from Orgill, the BCM system fetches product data from Orgill and pushes that product data into the Boost Catalog.
  3. Frequency: POS pricing update frequency is controlled by your POS system configuration. Boost Catalog product data is updated weekly. Each catalog has a specific weekly time slot when it does its automatic product data updates.
  4. Data Direction: Product data flows in only one direction between these components. Refer to the arrows in the diagram to determine which direction the data flows between any two components.
  5. Not: Product data, including pricing or in-stock quantities, do NOT flow from the POS system to the Boost Catalog. No. That's never been part of the Boost program.
