Unable to Add Products to a Product Carousel (Impact)
Issue Description
You are updating a website and trying to add a product to a Product Carousel, but you are unable to search for the product you wish to add. There is a known fix for this issue.
Perform the check below to determine if you are experiencing this issue. If so, then send the specified email below to have the fix applied to your site.
Check If Product Search Works for Product Carousels
In Builder.io, to check if adding products to Product Carousels works as intended, do the following:
- Log in to builder.io admin
- Go to Structured Data Models > Product carousel
- Open any existing carousel
- Select [+ Product]
- Select [Choose Product]
- Search for the product you'd like to add (make sure the product you're searching for is available in the catalog for this dealer
Product Search Returns an Error
If the space is using incorrect API keys, the search will return 'Oh no! There was an error searching for resources' error at the bottom of the page:
If you have received this error, send the following email to Emerge2 Support:
