Purpose

This article contains a step that must be completed before any non-Orgill products can be added or imported into an Impact Transactional catalog.

This article and this step must only be performed once for any given catalog.

Step 1 - Price Books

A Price Book is a list of product SKUs from your catalog and the prices you want to charge for those products.

1. Log in to your Elastic Path (EP) admin account {{{KB link for “Log in”}}}
2. Click “Merchandise” in the top-left corner
3. In the left sub-menu, click “Price Books”
4. You should see almost 20 price book entries listed
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the list to see if the “LOCAL-PRICEBOOK” entry exists
6. If the “LOCAL-PRICEBOOK” entry already exists, then skip the remainder of this step, since you are now done with the one-time setup
7. If the “LOCAL-PRICEBOOK” entry does not exist, then do the following to create it:
1. Click the [+ New price book] button in the top-right corner
2. Enter “LOCAL-PRICEBOOK” in both the Name field and the Description field
3. Click the [Save] button
8. You are now done with the one-time setup
