Need a FedEx account (Impact eCom)

Orgill's Transactional Impact eCommerce websites require a FedEx account to facilitate the calculating of shipping fees for online orders.

If your business does not yet have a FedEx account, then please follow the instructions in all sections (Section A, Section B and Section C).

If your business already has a FedEx account, then skip Section A and follow the instructions in both Section B and Section C.

Section A - FedEx Sign-up

The FedEx shipping account creation process requires you to provide a credit card for billing purposes (in case you ship parcels from your store using FedEx) and to also agree to their terms and conditions.

Once created, we will integrate your FedEx account with your Impact eCommerce website so that the catalog can do shipping fee estimates for customer orders.

Could you please do the following:
  1. Go to: 
    American Businesses: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/open-account.html
    OR
    Canadian Businesses: https://www.fedex.com/en-ca/open-account.html
  2. Click the [OPEN AN ACCOUNT] button
  3. Fill in the online form on behalf of your business (e.g. address, user ID, etc.)
  4. There may be multiple pages of questions to answer
Once your account has been created, please continue with Section B.

Section B - Create Shipping Account

A Shipping Account is required for the API / Integration of the FedEx account with your Impact eCommerce solution.

1. Login to FedEx here: https://developer.fedex.com/api/en-us/home.html (same credentials as your FedEx Account)
2. Click "Manage Organization" on the left menu
2. Click the "Shipping Accounts" heading
3. Click the [+ADD ACCOUNT] button
4. Fill in the information as follows:
Account Number: Your 9 Digit FedEx Account #
Account Nickname: "Your Short Company Name" FedEx Main Account (e.g. "ACME FedEx Main Account")
Address Information: (Must be exactly as you entered in the Contact Information for your FedEx account)
5. Click [NEXT] Button
6. Read and Accept the EULA information on the next page (1 check box - "Yes")
7. Click [ADD ACCOUNT] button

Once your Shipping Account has been created, please continue with Section C.

Section C - Provide Details to Emerge2

Emerge2 needs your FedEx account details to integrate your catalog with FedEx. Therefore, please forward the following details to support@emerge2.com:
  1. Any resulting confirmation email(s) that you received from your FedEx sign-up
  2. Your 9-digit FedEx account number
  3. The User ID and Password that you specified for your FedEx account
  4. Please include your store name and your name as a contact in case we have any follow-up questions
We will then configure your Impact eCommerce catalog to connect with the FedEx system and to use your FedEx account for calculations.
