Authorize.net Fees

To process customer payments for online orders, transactional Impact eCommerce websites require an Authorize.net account.

Authorize.net offers two types of accounts:
  1. All-In-One
  2. Gateway Only
If the dealer already has a Card-Not-Present merchant account and wishes to use it with their Impact website, they can sign up for the "Gateway Only" Authorize.net account.

Otherwise, the dealer can sign up for the "All-In-One" Authorize.net account, which includes the required gateway linkage to your Impact website and also a Card-Not-Present merchant account. If you want a separate merchant account for your online orders, then this is a good approach.

It's important to note that your in-store Card-Present merchant account cannot be used with an online website where the online customer's card is not physically present to tap, insert, or swipe as part of the online transaction. Only a Card-Not-Present merchant account can be used for online transactions.

Authorize.net Fees for All-In-One accounts:
  1. $25/month
  2. Processing rate: 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction
Authorize.net Fees for Gateway Only accounts:
  1. $25/month
  2. Processing rate: 10¢ per transaction + 10¢ daily batch fee
