Gmail: How to Add a Trusted Sender
Overview
This article outlines the steps to add an email address or domain to a safe senders list, trusted domains list, or 'whitelisting' in GMail.
Process
- Log into your Gmail Account - https://gmail.com/
- Click the Settings wheel at the top right
- Click the "See all settings"

- Select the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" heading

- Click the "Create a new filter" link

- Add the Email address or domain that you want to add to the safe senders (whitelist) e.g. *@some-domain.tld OR firstname@somedomain.tld
- Click the [Create filter] button

- Select the “[✅] Never send it to Spam” box, and any other options you might want to highlight or manage messages from this address.

- Click the [Create filter] button

- Repeat steps 1-4 and you should see that the filter was created

The email address should now be trusted and you can repeat this process for other emails or domains.
