Acceptable Documents for Google Advertiser Verification
Google advertiser verification requires that each business provide government-issued documentation to:
- Verify the existence of your business; and
- Verify the person who provides the business documentation.
Google has provided the following list of acceptable documents for their advertiser verification.
The documents list is country-specific. Please refer to the Canadian or American list below based on your business location.
CANADA: Verification Documents acceptable to Google Canada
- Business or organization verification documents (one of):
- Certificate of incorporation
- Certificate of continuance, existence, or compliance
- Certificate of good standing/status
- Documents to verify the person who is providing the business document (one of):
- Driver’s license
- National Identity card
- Passport
AMERICA: Verification Documents acceptable to Google USA
- Business or organization verification documents (one of):
- W9 Form
- Any IRS-issued letter or notice (not IRS forms) showing your name, address, and EIN (employee identification number)
- DUNS (Dun & Bradstreet) certificate
- Documents to verify the person who is providing the business document (one of):
- Passport
- State identification
- Driver’s license
- Permanent resident card or Green card
